If you have played Mafia Wars or FarmVille, you probably have a good idea of how this works already. If you haven't, here is what happens:
You can get a lot of these gifts and hoard them until February 9th. Once the open date has passed, you will be able to open these for prizes.
Based on the rewards from other Zynga titles, these items will probably be a mix of old cafe cash decor items, extra servings of food, old free gift decor items (like poinsettas), and a few select new items.
Additionally, odds are we will NOT see different rewards from different gift styles.. so rather than diversifying your gift portfolio, just make sure you are holding as many gifts as you can.
We will see on the 9th!

Where should the gifts be stored?
Its the 9th, and I can't open them... ???
I can't open them either and its 10:45am... So what time should we expect to be able to open the gifts? I am going to my dad's today and wont have internet access there. I wont be back till tomorrow. Will I still be able to open them tomorrow if I can't now? Or will I lose all my gifts? Also, I put them all in my cafe. Should I have kept them in my gift section?
its says I posted that at 7:45am... but where I live, its 10:45am lol
they actually open after the date has passed....so they will actually open on the 10th of February.....
do we have to hold them in our gift box? or do we put them in our cafe?
i still cannot open my gifts and its 10th february and they are in my cafe not in the gift section, now what?
mine just opened automatically and i got one that had $250 cafe cash. the rest were mainly food dishes and decorations that i don't want.
and where were they in the shop or gift section?
I just got a message on my cafe world telling me that they are hard at work opening our gifts and to be patient.
Here's the message I got:
"Hiya chefs! We're hard at work unwrapping all these Valentine's gifts for you...just a little while longer now. Great things come to those who wait!"
